Studio Policies & Guidelines
Membership & Studio Hour Policies
Minimum Membership Term: All memberships require an initial minimum commitment of three months unless otherwise stated in writing. That’s how we’re able to provide a discounted rate and exclusivity. Cancellation may not occur before completion of the initial term.
Rollover Studio Hours: Active members can roll over unused studio hours to the next month. Hours do not expire as long as your membership remains active and are forfeited upon cancellation.
Studio Hour Exchange: Members can exchange studio hours for editorial labor (e.g., editing, post-production). The exchange rate is 1 hours = 1 premium reel. Contact us in advance to arrange this.
Editorial Capacity & Scope: Editorial services are delivered within the capacity included in your membership tier. Excess volume, accelerated timelines, or additional revisions beyond your plan may require additional fees or scheduling adjustments.
Billing Pause Policy: Memberships remain active to maintain your guaranteed limited spot for monthly studio access. Unused hours do not automatically trigger a billing pause. If you need to take a break, please email us at least 31 days before your next billing date.
30-Day Membership Cancellation Notice: Please email us at least 31 days before your next billing date. This policy protects your exclusive spot in our limited-capacity membership, ensuring convenience, privacy, and consistent availability for all members.
Editorial Services Upon Cancellation: Editorial services are reserved for active members only. Once cancellation notice is received, we will create a plan to complete any remaining editorial work within your active 31-day notice period. Ongoing or future editorial services will not continue beyond your final billing date.
Post-Cancellation Studio Time Usage: Upon membership cancellation, any remaining studio hours must be scheduled and used within the active 31-day notice period. Unused rollover hours are forfeited. Rollover is a benefit of active membership and does not extend beyond the final billing period.
Booking & Payment Policies
A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due one day before the day of the session.
We accept Credit Card, Zelle, Venmo, Chase QuickPay, and ACH Deposits.
Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed once payment is received.
All payments are non-refundable once studio time has been reserved or services have been rendered.
Block Hour Packages: Discounted multi-hour packages are sold at a reduced rate and are not prorated. Unused time within a booked block is non-refundable, the remaining time is forfeited and will not be refunded or recalculated at the full hourly rate.
Partial Use of Time: If a client chooses to end their session early or does not use the full reserved time, no refunds or credits will be issued.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance – No additional fee will be charged.
Cancellations 24-48 hours in advance – 50% of the full booking fee.
Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance – 100% booking fee.
No-shows result in the full booking fee being charged.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee.
For non-member productions, booking deposits (up to $400) are non-refundable if canceled within 5 days of your scheduled shoot. However, we’re happy to reschedule your session.
Studio Time & Overtime
Arrival prior to your scheduled session start requires approval in advance.
Your booking includes setup and breakdown time outside your scheduled session. We’ll be ready to film on or before your scheduled start time.
Additional adjustments to your set can be made during the shoot, but will require considerate time for background changes. Please arrive on time to maximize your session.
Overtime is charged at 2x per hour and is subject to availability.
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and no refunds will be given.
Time Management Responsibility: Clients are responsible for managing their filming pace within their reserved time. Ongoing takes at the end of a session do not extend the booking unless overtime has been pre-approved and is available.
Hard Out Policy: All sessions have a firm end time. If your booking ends at a scheduled hard out due to another client, building restriction, or operational need, filming must stop immediately at the scheduled end time. We cannot extend sessions that run into another client’s reserved time.
Guest & Crew Policy
Only 6 additional guests are allowed in the studio unless approved in advance.
All guests must adhere to studio rules and respect the space.
Children and pets must be pre-approved and supervised at all times.
Equipment & Studio Usage
Please handle all equipment with care. Any damage caused by misuse will be charged to the client.
Certain equipment may require an additional rental fee or approval before use.
If you need specific equipment or props, let us know in advance.
Content & Conduct
No illegal activities, smoking, or open flames are allowed in the studio.
The client is responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions for any copyrighted music, visuals, or third-party content used in their production.
We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest engaging in inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
Deliverables & Turnaround Time
Edited content will be delivered within 7 business days unless otherwise agreed.
Rush editing is available for an additional fee, typically $300 for a half day shoot..
The client is responsible for reviewing and requesting any revisions within 7 days of receiving the final product. Two rounds of revisions are included unless otherwise specified. Additional revisions or substantial creative changes may incur additional fees.
Format Changes & Retroactive Edits: Requests to change the editorial format, style, structure, branding, or creative direction after content has been completed or approved will be treated as a new edit and may incur additional fees. Previously delivered content will not be reworked under the original revision allowance.
Dropbox Footage Delivery
All raw footage and edited content is delivered via Dropbox through a shared folder system, not public links.
This method ensures unlimited daily download bandwidth, while public links are subject to a strict 1TB daily bandwidth limit imposed by Dropbox.
In the past, clients or their teams have unknowingly exceeded this bandwidth by using AI tools or distributing public links to multiple parties, which has resulted in temporary account bans affecting all members.
To protect everyone’s access and prevent downtime, we’ve disabled public link sharing for all members.
To download your files, we recommend creating a free Dropbox account and accessing your content directly through the shared folder.
You will NOT need to pay for Dropbox to access or download your content.
This policy is in place to ensure reliable, uninterrupted access for every member of our studio.
File Retention Policy: Raw footage and edited files are stored for 60 days after delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up all files. Long-term archival storage is not guaranteed.
